NC Youth Institute Experience

The North Carolina Youth Institute will take place on NC State’s campus over two days. On the first day, students will spend time with graduate students in research labs, participate in hands-on activities, and learn more about what research at NC State looks like. That evening, parents, friends, faculty, and professionals from across the state will be invited to attend a research celebration where students will present their scientific posters.

On the second day, students will participate in roundtable discussions to share and discuss their research papers with peers and experts in the field. At the conclusion of the Institute, students will be recognized as Borlaug Scholars and celebrated for their accomplishments.
